By integrating Lindy’s coaching into your calls, you’re set to constantly improve and level up your communication skills.

This guide builds on our Meeting Notetaker guide, which you can access here for getting started with a Meeting Notetaker Lindy.

After setting up your meeting coach, Lindy will:

Analyze the call
Deliver tailored feedback based on your preferences
Provide a comprehensive coaching report
Highlight key areas for improvement that you’re working on

Add your App of Choice

Lindy can send you coaching through any app of your choice – Email, Slack, Whatsapp, etc.

After the last action of your Meeting Notetaker Lindy, click Add Step.

Add your app of choice. In this example, we are going to add the Gmail Send Email action.

Add the Coaching Prompt

In the “to” or “user” field, click “Set Manually” and input your address/user information.

In the “Body" or “Message” field, ensure you click “AI Prompt” and insert the prompt below.

Coaching Prompt:

Feedback and Coaching Section for the user. (Bold this section to make it stand out)

Analyze the meeting transcript to create a Feedback and Coaching report tailored to your personal development goals. Be extremely goal-orientated, meaning each piece of feedback you give the user should be actionable and concrete. Your standards MUST be Harvard-level but always use common language, as if you are coaching a friend or colleague.

Key areas to focus on include:

Sentiment Analysis: Evaluate your tone and the emotional engagement throughout the call. Identify any shifts in sentiment that might indicate key moments of connection or misunderstanding.

Question Effectiveness: Review the types of questions you posed—were they open-ended to encourage dialogue, or more direct for specific answers? Consider how your questioning technique influenced the flow and outcomes of the conversation.

Patience and Timing: Reflect on your patience and timing during the meeting. Did you allow enough space for others to contribute, or were there moments when more patience could have led to better outcomes?

Interaction with Attendees: Assess how you interacted with other meeting participants. Were you receptive and helpful? Did your interactions promote a collaborative environment?

Handling Objections: Examine how you addressed any objections or challenges that arose. Were you composed and effective in navigating these situations?

Maintaining Composure: Consider whether you maintained professional composure under pressure. This includes looking at how you managed stress and controlled the meeting’s pace.

Executive Presence: Determine if your behavior and communication style reflected executive composure. Did you lead the meeting in a manner that was both authoritative and approachable?

Make this feedback report very skimmable. Bullet point form, use bolded text to emphasize key points and stay encouraging but concise. Conclude the message with a single-sentence evaluation of their performance during the call. Make sure all feedback is actionable and can be used for future performance improvements.

Feel free to edit, tailor, and customize the prompt to highlight areas you are working on or things you want Lindy to be mindful of when analyzing your calls.
